nice rooms, quiet location, friendly staff
nice stay in a mid size hotel: located cloae to the centre but in a very quiet street. Nice rooms; a little outdated. Great breakfast and restaurant facilities. Very friendly staff and overall a very nice and relaxed atmosphere in this hotel. Also close to the metro network.

location, speak english, quiet and safe
Needs new furniture in the lobby and some painting. It is looking old. The concierge recommeneded 2 restaurants that was terrible We look over and he is eating there. Not looking out for your best interests. Dennis said he would order our airport transportation but didn't thank goodness we reconfirmed before breakfast. Not reliable. They are nice but not competent, sent us the wrong way to a restaurant. Just make your own plans or use word of mouth and order a taxi if it isn't walking distance.
Dennis at the concierge planned some activities that were not worth the time and effort.Plan your own day and get directions. He also said he would book our airport transportation and didn't do it.
We recommend that you purchase 2 to 6 day passes for unlimited entry to the museums etc. We purchusaed them at the D'Orsay museum. Be careful of pickpockets at the Metro near the hotel.Have your paper work @ checkin as they were trying to disagree with us at what we booked.until I showed them our reservation.They try to get you to upgrade to another room by showing you a terrible room, just say that's not what you booked Insist on a higher floor. In the end we were happy with our room. We ordered 2 coffee and croissants for some mornings to our room should not be any more 11 euros. For the rate that we got it was worth it but it is by no means a 4 star hotel It would be a 3 star. Pillows, mattresses definitely of very low quality. Also there is no turn down service. Room service is good for coffee in the am. but have to go over your order so that they get it right, 2 coffees and croissants run about 11 Euros. Mono prix is great for salads soups and groceries. to the right of the hotel is a small convenience store to buy wine etc.
Restaurant Tip : Cafe de Paris in St. Germain, fish, mussels, meat and oysters Fabulous, great service. Visconti Italian restaurant authentic, delicious. Metro: madeleine tel 01 42 65 55 13.
You can purchase 2 to 6 day passes for the museums etc. Must ask for it.it entitles you to unlimited entry and also saves time. No waiting in lines. Be careful of pickpockets at the metro near hotel. The person had coffee in her hand and when going through with her ticket he knocked into her and spilled her coffee on her clothes, then stole her money. Was long gone when she realized it.

Very nice stay in a good hotel in a quiet ares but still centrally located. nice and spaceous rooms, great breakfast buffet and good quality restauran. staff very friendly and client oriented
