The only hiccup was they tried to put us in a room that had smokers in it even though smoking is stricyly prohibited in the hotel. they changed our room but shouldent have happened

being that the hotel was right across the street from the river....it would've been nice to have a river view or any type of view. the room was really hot even when the thermostat was adjusted. the one taxi driver who was called for us was extremely rude.

Everything at the Citadines Prestige St Germain-des-Pres was excellent.
We were very warmly received upon our arrival. The front office staff was very patient and thorough in explaining to us the facilities and services. He also acknowledged all the requests that we had made when booking online and where this could not be granted, he nicely explained the rationale. He also offered plenty of useful information as well as a map of Paris and a detailed one for the hotel vicinity with information on where we have supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries and so on. The room was also made available to us upon arrival as requested even though we arrived before the usual check-in time.
We were also pleasantly surprised by the room - more spacious than they looked on the internet. The room was clean and both the bed in the bedroom as well as the sofa bed in the living room were very comfortable.
Toiletries were well replenished daily along with towel change and clearing of the bins but thorough cleaning is done once every 3 days which is adequate.
The hotel's location is tops - 5 minutes' walk to St Michel metro station and 10 minutes' walk to Cluny la Sorbonne. Plenty of restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies and shops in the vicinity and it's within a short walking distance to the Notre Dame.
Upon check-out, we were also well attended to by a courteous and professional front office staff.
Great hotel/service apartment to stay in.
Restaurant Tip:
Walk to Rue Dauphine (from the hotel's entrance, turn left and then left again into this street) for a great variety of restaurants and art galleries. Many Asian restaurants with affordable prices and good food. Particularly worth mentioning is Xin Gaininan restaurant - serving great Chinese, Japanese and Korean food. Broth of soup noodles very rich in flavour. Great service and reasonable prices.

Booked this place a few hours before checking in for 5 nights on 4th December. Attended by Sophie who was very welcoming and assigned us a nice room complete with amenities. Was a bit worried that we would be given a room with just a sofa bed as shown on their website, but turned out to be a double bed just nice for the 2 of us and our 6 year old daughter. Didn't even need the extra bed that Sophie suggested. Just couldn't believe our luck that we managed to book this place at the last minute.
Very conveniently located right smack in the middle of Paris and next to the Seine. Plenty of Paris' tourist attractions nearby, including eateries and shopping areas, so much so that we just walked to them or took a train at the Saint-Michel Metro station.
The free-flow coffee and hot chocolate WMF dispensing machine at the lobby is God-sent, offering us some comfort from the chilly weather.
Kudos to Citadines Prestige Saint-Germain-des-Prés Paris for the great service, and having stayed at various Ascott and Somerset serviced apartments, you're definitely way ahead of some of them. Will return if we're ever in Paris again.

The Citadine hotel is actually a serviced apartment with kitchen net. Even with a small kitchen portion, the bedroom area is spacious and clean compared with other hotels nearby. The location is just wonderful. You may walk to Notredame Church and a subway station within 10 minnutes. There are bunch of pretty restaurants around the hotel. Also, you may find a supermarket nearby. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The conciege desk helped me to make a restaurant kindly. Also, the hotel provides free wifi with good speed in rooms and lobby. Coin laundry machines are available on the basement. Although it is not a 5 star luxurious hotel, it was more than enough to provides comforts and rest.

my daughter and i had a wonderful week in paris staying at this hotel. our requests for an upper floor and two twin beds were easily accommodated by the friendly staff. our room was small but well laid out and looked newly renovated. the small kitchen was very usefull to us on those nights we chose to stay in. enough cannot be said about the location, right on the seine just across from pont neufchâtel. this is walking distance to so many major attractions including notre dame, latin quarter, the louvre and st. germain. it is also close to a major metro and rer hub making other traveling easy.
we would definitely stay here again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you are a first time visitor to Paris don't be Fraid to use the Metro. It is incredibly easy to use.

if you're looking for beautifully appointed paris accomodation this is not it..the property is overall pretty tired and needs a face lift..but the location is superb and the fact that the studios are like mini (& i do mean mini!)appts is perfect for anyone wanting to do the paris tourist thing.

Compare to ohter hotels near by, the size of room is way bigger than average.You can't expect the atmosphere of Paris but The room is very clean(they changed toweles and sheets everyday in my 5 days stay) and spacious(stayed in a studio room).
Not cheap but considering the time and money you need to spend in a reastraunt, it can worth if you cook more.

great location. We had a one bedroom apartment and thought there would be a large (double)
pull out sofa for my 18 year old daughter but there was only a twin. Talk about bait and switch!!
All the pictures on line showed a large queen in the main bedroom and a double pull out in the living area. What a rip off!!
