i liked the location of the hotel and found the staff very helpful. was kept very clean also.
the room seemed to have paper thin walls! it might just be me but i am a light sleeper. seemed like every time somebody went to the toilet in the hotel or took a shower i was awoken!!!
unfortunatly for me (and my poor french) finding the classic hotel eiffel was a bit of a stress! it took me ages to find and my decision making that day was lets just say flawed! then a helpful parisian told us to get the metro to port st cloud. it took us a further 1/2 hour to find and then once it was worked out i realised it was actually a quite easy location which annoyed me. once i got to the hotel the staff were very friendly and helpful, i got to my room and to be honest thought wow this looks a lot smaller than the picture (not that that bothered me) later when i went to bed i could hear somebody above me either shower and flush the toilet, then people coming back from being out every move (maybe i am just a light sleeper though)
apart from the thickness of the walls though i liked the hotel and would go back. it is good value and in a good location. definatly great for a short stay.
Shopping Tip : there is a fantastic little market on tuesdays and thursdays around the corner from the hotel also the metro is only five minutes away and if you dont mind a longer journey there is a bus stop across the road.
