Location, balcony, view of typical Paris cafe culture, price and the guy not being able to find our bill so not charging for breakfast.
Noise, broken shower head holder
We had a great few days in Paris at the end of a longer holiday in France. We were amazed at the location of the hotel as we could walk everywhere from there easily. It was too hot to use the metro and there were regular drink stops on the street.
Location was great and the rooms were adequate. It was nice to have a little balcony where we could leave the windows open and go out to drink a wine and look down to the bars on the corner - typical Paris cafe culture. Price meant that it was great value for Paris and on price alone I would consider going back there.
I wouldn't go back for one reason alone. Noise! 100 yards from a junction with a road that is in most use by mopeds between 10pm and 1am. Also the junction has 2 busy street cafes. Rooms aren't huge but it doesn't matter at the price and location.
If you are looking for somewhere to crash after sightseeing and are out late or don't mind constant bar and associated traffic noise then it will be great. Admittedly the weather may have played a part in the later night noise so it could be different in the autumn / winter.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are lots of stamp collecting shops nearby......which must attract some trade / interest.
