Comfortable stay with great access

I had a comfortable stay. There is a small supermarket across the the road for buying snacks and drinks. Gare Montparnasse is about 3 mins walk for easy access to the TGV and Metro. Another metro station Gaite is also a few minutes walk away. Foodies and Hemmingway fans can walk about 15 mins to Boulevard du Montparnasse to dine in Le Dome, Le Select and Le Coupola. Nearer the hotel, there are many interesting dining options too.

Very Nice Hotel

The front desk service is really good, they give us the view of Eiffle Tower, and the room is very clean, it's very nice of all the workers in this hotel, the metro is nearby, we can easily go out side.
But the room is a little bit small.

It was really convenient location from CDG airport and downtown.
once you come out from arrival hall of airport, you will see the air france shuttle bus, it cost 12 Euro and take a line 4.
it tooks 1hour and half for arrival after the Gare de lyon.
this hotel is located at just left side once alight from the bus at Gare Montparness. go up to 100 meters only.
It is good location for city tour. you will see Eiffel tower. it is far maybe. but, i think it is still within walking distance.
as long as Eiffel tower is on your sight, then that's it. you found good one for tour. just enjoy.

Friendly, helpful welcome and great service
The room was quiet so I could sleep in the day after arriving on the long flight from Australia. The concierge ran out of the hotel to help me in with my big case and the staff on the reception desk were friendly and helpful.

I am an experienced traveller and have stayed in many hotels and there was honestly nothing I could find fault with at the Concorde Montparnasse Hotel. I arrived in Paris by air from Australia, took the Air France bus from CDG airport and it was only about 10.30 a.m. when I arrived at the hotel so I didn't expect my room to be ready until noon. However, the staff realised that I was tired after a long flight, put my heavy luggage in the luggage store for me straightaway and directed me to a ladies' cloakroom on the lower ground floor where I was able to wash and change my socks and shoes in comfort. They pointed out where I could get something to eat and drink and suggested I come back before 12 noon as my room might be ready early and sure enough it was. The room was extremely comfortable. I had intended to go to an art gallery, but it was pouring with rain, cold and windy so after my shower I went to bed and was amazed that the room was so quiet that I was able to sleep for hours undisturbed.
Breakfast was served from an early hour and there was an excellent variety of hot and cold food to choose from. One of the staff kindly helped me with directions for the quickest way to walk to Montparnasse station, literally a one-minute walk just round to the right from the hotel entrance. The concierge who had greeted me the day before was concerned about me getting wet - it was still raining heavily - and got an umbrella and escorted me for a short way until I was under the cover of the station entrance.
I have travelled on my own many, many times for both business and pleasure in Australia and overseas, and sometimes I have found large hotels somewhat austere and unfriendly places. However, at the Concorde Montparnasse I was made to feel at home and that the staff were concerned for my comfort. The staff were patient with my speaking to them in French which is rusty after 40 years living outside Europe and did me the courtesy of not replying in English.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The hotel is literally right next to a side entrance to Gare Montparnasse so if you are travelling to well-known tourist sites such as St Malo, Mont Saint Michel, Lourdes or other places reached from that station you don't need to get a taxi to the station and it's only a short walk, ideal if you have heavy luggage.
