It was within easy walking distance to the local Metro and also Gard de Nord. The area of the city the hotel is located is very interesting, lots of bakeries, butcher, cheese and fish shops.
The desk staff were very pleasant and friendly.
The room was very tired. The carpet in the hall and also room was shabby. The beds hard. It was difficult to operate the TV situated high up on the wall above a wardrobe with no door. The bathroom had been updated - was beautifully tiled and a modern wash basin. However, you couldn't open the shower door as the wash basin was in the way,as you stood as the wash basin your back was against the wall. As for the toilet - the seat was broken and finally on the third day after three requests to have it repaired, it ws fixed. However, it was the source of entertainment each time it was used.
You got the feeling that the lady in the dining room would rather have not been there.
I would stay again, only if other options were not available. I now know what to expect.
You pay for what you get. I have stayed in Paris twice before, once in the same region and around the same price, but the Eden hotel did not meet the same standard.

The room contains what it should and there are nice and clean. Ties in relation to 3 metro stations and close to the Moulin Rouge. Breakfast was fine. Both the receptionist and the cleaning staff was very nice and helpful.
Some of the trim Wednesday craft work is not quite in the top, but it does not matter. Very small elevator to the max. 3 persons.
It was a nice hotel where you get good valutta for money. We were two adults and a child. It was one of the cheapest hotel we could find close to a metro. The quality of the hotel were higher than we expected. Although it is close to the "erotic stores," feel there is no insecurity, and it is fine to have children with. It is a really nice atmosphere in Montmatre area is cozy and baby than cafes. Sacre Cæur church is not far from there.
