There is a small 30 room boutique hotel which is named after the lovely Luxembourg gardens and which has splendid murals and lovely art throughout the rooms. The building is a freestone structure and where rooms either look out on to either the Gay Lussac street which has lots of action or the R. Collard street which is sedate and tranquil. The owners have taken extraordinary care to match colors and tones in decorating the place and the murals are remarkable. In particular the shade of green is modeled after the tones of the gardens just down the street. Some terraces have views of the Eiffel Tower, some have views of the gardens, and from others you can gaze down on the Parisian street life below.
