It was a nice experience. Fair price for a single standard room. No breakfast included. The only disadvantages were :
1. Broken elevator on the day I arrived and on the day of departure, i.e. 4 stocks with luggage
2. Very slow internet connection, especially by several applications
3. Standard single room is quite small without a balcony
Other than fair clean hotel in a very good location.

A pity only to stay for one night and wish I'd not booked another hotel previously. I enjoyed the room so much that I prepared a gourmet dinner (from the food hall at Galleries Lafayette) to eat on the balcony, rather than go out again to the many local restaurants! Appreciated the well stocked fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Excellent, professional reception staff.

I have a very nice stay in this hotel with the clean room and bed. You can easily access to all of the public transport and also to the airport. There are variety of local restaurant nearby even just downstairs,it will not be a problem for search for a nice meal. Hotel is very close to the opera house, i enjoyed the opera show at night on my stay. This is a very recommended hotel to stay for budget couples.

It was a good stay as a whole. However there are few cons. First, they do not have air-conditioning which mean you have to open your window for ventiliation, otherwise it will get really stuffy. Despite staying on the second level, I could feel the vibration caused by the metro, as such my suggestion to you is that choose a higher level. Lift is extremely small enough for just me and my 2 luggages

Excelsior Opera Hotel is located in a superb location. Very close to shopping areas and metro stations which brings you to all the major attractions in Paris.
Service provided by hotel reception staff was excellent! Friendly, warm, helpful, welcoming and attentive. What can i say!! :)
