Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. Area felt more residential, I went on a great early morning stroll and I was amoung the dog walkers and joggers. You can see the tower from the street. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was fair, and the room was adequate. I would have liked a firmer bed that was not saggy in the middle and a bit fresher (less smokey) room, but it was respecably clean. Could hear the neighbors thru the walls but they were not too loud. The street noise was loud if you have the window open but with it closed you hear nothing. One note- the lights in the halls are on timers, you have to hit the buttons that are close to the doors of each room as you walk down the halls. Is very dark and kind of spooky when the lights go out. But I appreciate the efforts to save electricity.
Location was great. Very close to the tower. Staff was friendly. Room was adequate. Breakfast included. Hairdryer in room.
Slightly smokey smell in the room and person at front desk said there were no "non-smoking" rooms. Opening the window helped but then got bit by mosquitoes. Bed was a bit saggy in the middle. No alarm clock in room.
- Restaurant Tip : The food in the restaurant below the hotel wasn't exceptional, but not bad, and the people watching was great! Waiter was very nice and funny.
