Blair F. Couples New Zealand, October 12, 2012	Friendly hotel in non-tourist neighbourhood The neighbourhood is great, away from the tourist throngs, but handy to museums, the Seine and Notre Dame. Rooms were modern and clean. Staff spoke some english and were very helpful in organising transport and in giving directions. 8.3 We enjoyed this hotel. It is an area of Paris that is very interesting, with plenty of boutique shops and restaurants within a few blocks. It is more of a boutique hotel. Rooms are pretty small, but comfortable and modern, despite being in a very old building. There is also a very nice lounge. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Turn left from the hotel and you come to a typical french brassiere. Turn left again and you are in Place de Vosges.... one of the sights of Paris. Another short walk and you reach the Seine.

On the upside clean rooms and good wifi. Overall, there are loads of other hotels in the area that would be equivalent or better
