This is the only competitively priced hotel in this street which is just across from the famous Galeries Lafayette Department store. Literally only five minutes walk from Opera Garnier and close to everything of interest in this area, this is a great choice for its value. The rooms are nicely decorated and are not exactly cheap so it probably does not class as a budget hotel but it is selected primarily for its value because it delivers with enough and yet is still in a prime location.

It's location is perfect, just behind Lafayette (department store) & supermarket is nearby. You can take Airport bus (Roissybus) from CDG to Opera-Garnier. The hotel staffs are nice & helpful.
The room is small & no air-con. It won't be easy in hot summery night. We get 2 rooms. My room is clean but my partner found bugs on her bed in another room. We have told the hotel staff.
It is a budget hotel in very good location. Since you will go out for sight-seeing, don't mind the room is small. If you are going in hot summer time, you have to reconsider although electic fan is provided. You can cool down your room by opening the window but it will be very noisy & can wake you up in early morning. For cleanliness, my room is OK. I trust the bugs in my partner's room is an isolated case.
Shopping Tip : All shops are closed on Sunday in Opera area even department store (Lafayette & Pintemps) and cafe.

I enjoyed Paris with this hotel, and the staff is really kind. The hotel is located near Opera, department store, supermarket, and so many shops, cafes and restaurants. The room was narrow for us, but it was not bad because of the cost and location. We enjoyed Paris and the shopping.

Department stores near the subway and where
I only shower. The shower door was broken.
I chose a good location (a department store Metro Opera), the shower screen was reserved only explanation that I do not know. The shower door was broken.
