Someone said that this hotel is perfect for people who want to enjoy the art of good living and it is true. Located in the prestigious left bank district Latin Quarter, this joint is walking distance from a lot of Paris -- The Saint Germain des Pres area, Notre Dame, College de France, Orsay Museum and more. The exterior is charming flat red with a lovely awning and swing doors for its entrance. The rooms are larger than most Paris rooms and many open onto a lovely courtyard towards the rear of the hotel. The street side rooms have lovely French windows that open onto a mini terrace. The full bar is a fabulous place for an afternoon aperitif.
Please note that guests must pay a city tax of 1 euro per person per night directly to the hotel at arrival. This is an additional charge and is not included in the room rates.
Children and extra beds:Guests over 4 years old are considered as adults.
Extra beds are dependent on the room you choose, please check the individual room policy for more details.

Great location but the room is small and shows age

The hotel looks OK but the staff is not as warm as what I have experienced with others. The room is livable but nothing worth recommending about.
If WIFI is a must for you, don't stay in this hotel. The signal is very weak and totally unstable. It is frustrating to see if dropped out and came back after a while. Maybe other floors and rooms would work better but still a terrible experience.

This hotel is unique, the way I expected Parisian hotel to be. The room is quite small with no frills and all, but that's just the way I like it. The elevator is also petite and the staircase reminds me of some old french movie, where it circles around the elevator.
I love the ambience, and the location is also great. Walking distance to Latin Quartier where you can find friendly people and not some usual tourists you find along Champ Elysee. It is more alive with cafe and small shops that stretches in the area for you to choose.
