Solo travelers United States of America, March 30, 2013	Decent hotel People spoke english. 8.3 Hotel was your typical tiny european room, however The bed arrangement in the room gave it a roomier feel to it. The front desk spoke english really well. The elevator was.....questionable never gave me a problem but it felt like it was suspended from a rubber band. The internet service was pretty good also. The breakfast wasnt bad again your typical european breads, meats spread. Overall It was a pretty good stay I would recommend it if you arent looking for anything fancy.

Staff was fairly nice, complimetary breakfast, location was good 6.7 First impression staff was nice and spoke english well. Walked into room...it was tiny! Other thing internet connection on the top floor was horrid so we changed to the second floor and it was noticeably better. No english channels on tv so unless you speak french...tv in room doesn't make a difference. It was my first time in France so I am not sure if all the rooms downtown are so small but this seemed abnormally small and they said they had other rooms which were smaller...( not sure how that was possible). Overall it was OK probably wouldn't stay here again because I felt very crowded with the minimal space. Besides that breakfast was good and about 4 blocks from eiffel tower Hotel Feature Tip: Ask for a room on the lower floors if you plan to use wi fi.

I had already expected the room to be small so it was not much of a surprise. But considering we came in from a week stay in Vienna with big luggage each,it did not feel so cramped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was good. Free wifi in the room. The elevator is a bit small but could fit at least three people and two big luggage. The hotel is near Eiffel Tower, and just a few minutes walk from the metro which is very convenient. In fact i think it is not that far from de Champs-elysees (the designer strip), but we did not try to walk there. Just a note for those who like to make your own coffee/hot drinks in the room, there is no electric kettle in the room, and i did not ask if they provide upon request. But there is mineral water etc. The hotel also provides shuttle service to the airport at a very reasonable rate. All in all, i would recommend it for those looking for a comfortable place to stay at a reasonable price in Paris. Travel tip: The metro is a very convenient way to travel within the city. It took us less than 30 minutes from the hotel to Gare du Nord (the Eurostar Station to London).

Very convenient. Easy access to metro and also carefour. Groceries shop just around the corner. From the window we are able to see the top of eifel tower. Breakfast is provided ie bread, cereal, jus and cofee.

At first we thought the rooms were too small but since traveling further around Europe we've realized that it was a typical size for most European hotels. Room was clean and serviced each day. Lift is small so you may have to travel up individually if you have big bags. Friendly staff English speaking helps too 5 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower - awesome location!

But, the location isn´t really great unless for visiting the Eiffell Tower. You are a taxi trip or a tube ride away from everything. The rooms are small, carpeted floors, but tiled bathrooms (bathrooms are good), but it hasn´t been refurbished for quite some time, and it doesn´t feel fresh. Probably not gonna book the hotel again, but for budget travelers who just want a cheep and clean room, this is probably great.
