Clean and Comfortable but not a 4 star hotel

was in a great location and the rooms were clean and comfortable but should not be considered a 4 star hotel. there was not the little extras that you would except from a 4 star hotel. for example, the soap ran out in our room and was never refilled. the minibar refrigerator was leaking and full of water in the bottom. the staff was courtesy but not overly helpful.

we enjoyed our stay at the du parc saint-severin. locating at the latin quarter area means you have lots of restaurants to choose from. metro station is only couple of minutes walk away, and some of the "must see" paris attractions are not much furter. room we stayed in was little bit small, but it had a balcony. breakfast didn't include in the price, but my understanding this is very common in many hotels in paris.

In Agodas swedish description it said balcony in every room. Too good to be true I wondered?
Of course it was. The hotel had only a few rooms with terrace and balcony and none of them available in Agodas booking system so I suggest that that is taken out of the description of the hotel!

Lovely hotel in a quiet backstreet. Very centrally placed and near to all major attractions. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Wonderfully comfortable bed! Masses of hot water too. I really liked the tea and coffee facilities in the room - I thought it was a nice touch as you don't often find this in hotels in France.
