Solo travelers Singapore, November 23, 2012	Great location, lovely service Friendly English speaking staff, great location, convenient, modern, clean 9 Hotel Gat Folies was modern and clean, both a plus point. Bathroom was small but very cute. Room was compact but bed was large, which was the most important for me. The room was designed to incorporate as much amenities as possible in a small space, and it worked for me. Only complaint will be the lack of soundproofing for the rooms - you can hear everything outside of the door, which made early morning vacumning by the housekeeper a big pain when you are not ready to wake up by 8am on a holiday.

Solo travelers Israel, October 23, 2012	o.k for young people but not so if you are over 40 o.k for young people but not so if you are over 40 5.3 the hotel is clean, but rooms are very small and it cater mostly for young people taste. rooms are very basic and there is not much there. it has the modern look, maybe too much, so if you are over 40, you probably want to look for another option. the price is way too much, for what you get. you can find a much better hotel in the same area, for this price.

Solo travelers Spain, October 04, 2012	Modern hotel in the heart of Paris New, Fresh, Clean 7.7 i was on a business trip, where i need to visit department stores and shops, this area is very close to that, so for me is quite convenient. also elevator is quite big so when traveling with big suitcases is very convenient. noise is not excellent isolated, but it wasn't a problem for me to sleep well. just had to checkout early due for one problem in reception so last day i had to leave at 10.30 am instead of at noon. Restaurant Tip: Supernature, 12 rue de Trévise Very nice healthy food, just walking distance from the hotel, great service at flexible times, everything fresh.

Groups United Kingdom, June 27, 2012	Lovely Hotel in a Great Location location, wifi, clean, trendy 8.7 gat folies is a lovely hotel. i visited paris with a friend in june 2012 for 5 days and it was perfect for our trip! i would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone! great location. you can walk to loads of places! even to the louvre. nearest station we always went to was grand boulevard, but also cadet. easy access and close to gare du nord. we stayed in a standard double room and although not a massive room, i wouldn't say it was small.. it was big enough for two girls. the decor and furniture is trendy, modern, clean, almost ikea style but with a retro/feel. the room has a massive double bed, that could easily fit 3 people! the most important factor to me was that it was really clean! our room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels and i was really pleased about the service. the shower was hot, powerful and clean. electronic safe was useful and the free wifi was brilliant. lots of restaurants around the area. there's a handy supermarket across the street or if you walk towards grand boulevard there's a carefour city. also o'sullivans on grand boulevard is a really cool irish pub on the corner to go to! we didn't try the breakfast but walked to close bakeries in the morning. its the best looking hotel on the street and i love the hotel sign at night. the only thing i would say about the hotel is that is it really hot. as soon as you walk in you can feel the heat. there is no ac only a fan (that we were very grateful for) in your room. we had to sleep with the window open. also there is not much storage for your clothes, so we would just have to keep our clothes in our suitcases. it didn't really bother me but may bother other people. i would definitely recommend to staying here though!

Couples Australia, May 12, 2012	not too bad funky room; windows that open onto a mini balcony, velib bike station out front of hotel 7.7 room fitted two adults and luggage quite comfortably. staff nice and helpful. location is its only down point, bit far from everything but i think everything is so spread out in paris that no matter where you stay you're not going to be close to everything! breakfast was nice too!

The staff was able to answer our questions each morning and very friendly. The rooms were very clean, we couldn't have asked for a better stay.
