Hotel Le Bellechasse is located exceptionally well in Paris. You are only two short blocks away from the St. Germain and many wonderful restaurants. The room was a bit tacky in terms of design and not well thought out in terms of layout- but I peeked into other rooms and it seems it was just ours that was a bit awkward.

The Best Location

Hotel Le Bellechasse is centrally located right off of the St Germain and across the street from the Musee Orsay. While the location and price cannot be beat, the design of the room was a bit much- tacky to be exact. I did however get to take a peak into a few other rooms that didn't seem to suffer from three different clashing printed wallpapers. The design of our room also was a bit strange, with a rounded wall that took up crucial living space for no real purpose. Once again I saw a few other rooms and none of them seemed to have the the same issue.

Good location but not for short weekend
Unusual, quirky design, lovely reception staff, ease for metro travel.

the hotel is unusual in its design, and certainly it is clean, near a metro, and mostly the staff are welcoming & friendly.
however, the design of the rooms is not always practical (a spotlight toilet, for example, or a bathroom with no door).
the location is probably great during the week, but around this location almost everything is closed on sundays, so if you're only in paris for a short weekend, this is not your ideal location.
the rooms are incredibly small and very expensive in my opinion.
Restaurant Tip:
Have a meal, preferably involving tea & cake, at Ladurée while in Paris.
