Residence Henri IV is a beatful small hotel with many virtues. First and foremost it has really sizeable rooms which is unusual for many Paris hotel - you will not feel yourself cramped in like a show box. Location is astonishing with walking distance to Cite/Nord-Dame de Paris, St.Michael and any other great places at Rive Gauche. Each room is named after any french roality or other historic personage and tastefully decorated in Le Second Empire style. On top very friendly English speaking staff and organic toleitries in the room.
Shopping Tip:
There is a traditional Parisien Saturday morning market nearby - at the corner of Boulevard Saint Germain and Rue Monge - as each room has a small kitchinette it is good place to can buy food for your own French dinner.

I really enjoyed my brief stay at this hotel on my last night in Paris, which couldn't be more of a proper send off before heading back to the States. Very cute room, what i imagine a classic paris hotel room to look like. The decor was classy and elegant and feel very traditional. Also, great location. A few blocks away from Notre Dame and Seine River.
Restaurant Tip:
Go to Eric Kayser baker in the morning instead of the breakfast, they are one of the best bakery in the city and around the corner from the hotel.

Charming hotel in a fabulous location

Ours was a mother-daughter trip and we loved Hotel Residence Henri IV. The room was lovely and comfortable and the kitchenette was fantastic to have--even for warming coffee. The staff was accommodating and friendly. My mother has trouble walking long distances--a must in Paris!--so traveled with a portable wheeelchair. The staff was most helpful in keeping and retrieving it for us frequently.
Tres bien!
Restaurant Tip:
The concierge recommended Louis Vins restaurant to us our first night and it was all we had hoped. After five more nights of dining, it remained our favorite. (Cash only.)

通りから少し入ったところにあり、便利だけど静かなホテルでした。

女性二人で泊まりました。お部屋のインテリアもかわいらしく素敵でした。パリなので古い建物のようですが、広さもそこそこ、キッチンもついていて、水回りのトラブルもなく、使い勝手はよかったです。バスルームの電気がつかなくなったのですが、フロントのお兄さんが一生懸命修理してくれました。
