Decor Location Quiet Safe

Friendliness of staff Hard to find

Finding the hotel was rather difficult especially when it's your first time visiting Paris. Luckily, I took a cab and left it up to the driver to find it--Unlickily, I had to pay 72 Euros from the Orly airport until the hotel. My friend who followed me to the hotel but took the bus and metro from the airport got lost for almost an hour. People didn't know this hotel and ended up giving him the wrong directions. It's actually a best western, they should start calling it that. My stay was all in all okay. Got what I wanted but nothing extra. The staff is not so hospitable but they addressed our needs properly. There was no friendly greeting and it was impossible to get a smile out of them. Especially the night staff who acted like he was being bothered whenever we would ask something. Also, one of the receptionists had very bad body odour. No offense against people with body odour but it's not nice to walk in a hotel and smell something funky, don't you think? The location is great! It's within walking distance of the places you'd want to visit while in Paris and it's also close to the metro stations. It's quiet because it's in one of the side streets and it was safe--cause we always came home at 2 or 3 in the morning and we were left untouched.

This hotel is located just off Champs Elysees and it is a business area where you can get everything you want as a tourists. The hotel itself was clean and the rooms are of decent size. The staff at the reception were friendly and tried to help out in every aspects.

As for the weaknesses of the hotel, I think the breakfast was a bit overpriced. It was continental breakfast and we were charged 14 euros per person. I personally think that it is not worth it. Other than that, the hotel is perfectly fine.

I do like this hotel and I'm considering to go back to this hotel again when I pay a visit to Paris. It's superbly central location is a total advantage. Everything is so convenient. On top of that, the hotel is in pretty good condition and for the price that I'm paying, I think it's worth it.

Remember to bring your toothbrush and toothpaste: you won't find them in standard rooms. Ask for a room with windows far from air-conditioning; if not, though the thick glasses, you could be bothered by noisy buzz.
