The room we had gave us a great view out over Paris. Breakfast was all you could eat with plenty of variety. The actual state of the room was disgusting. Cupboard doors were hanging by one hinge. Hooks were falling out of the wall. Tha carpet was so badly stained it was repulsive. The room itself was fairly small. This room is definitely not worth what we paid per night. I would expect this state of a the room in a 2 star hotel not 5 star.

Acceptable necessity

This was an expensive hotel for its condition. The whole place was "tired" and s ready for refurbishment. There was a long wait to check-in but it was well handled.
After the convention dinner a group decide to use the lobby bar at 11.30pm, however we were told it was closed. They did relent and allowed a single round of drinks and harassed us for the empty glasses.
I would not recommend this hotel in its present state.

Great hotel, lovely view
Got a great view of the Eiffel Tower from my room

The hotel is well placed, with an underground link through the shopping centre from the Metro line 1 station Porte Maillot (Take Exit 1) The rooms on the high floors have a lovely view over Paris. I asked for a room with a view of the Tower, and got one. It was large and quiet. The only down side of this hotel was the awful service in the attached restaurant. It took half an hour to be served, and then the food/drinks were brought to me only after several prompting.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Ask for a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower.. You won't be disappointed. If they don't have one, ask for a room with a view of La Defense.

Nice hotel, great location

hotel well sited near metro station and walking distance to arc de triomph. shopping mall connected to hotel. rooms were a little old though toilets were refurbished . staff were generally helpful and friendly. however hotel does not provide kettle for boiling water so no hot drinks, no drinking glasses. when we asked for a pot of hot water, it came without any cups and we were charged euros! on the whole staff were accommodating and arranged for us to be moved to a bigger room on a higher floor when we complained of a stench coming from the toilet after they had fixed a slow- draining bidet. overall a pleasant stay.

Towards La defense, the location is quite good. It has a Metro underneath and a gourmand supermarket with a cafe and also a small shopping boutiques at the lower ground floor. However, there is no kettle provided wherelse the smaller hotels we stayed in has kettle and coffee/tea facilities with cups and spoons!
Shopping Tip:
you can walk to champs elysee for shopping. It's about a few blocks away

Very much enjoyed our stay here. Enjoyed the room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. The shopping centre as part of the complex is very handy.
