It was a pleasant n comfortable stay. Room was clean n well decorated. Staff were polite n helpful. There is a cafe that serves pretty good breakfast round the corner n there are a few chinese restaurants nearby. Only thing is if u don't read or speak French, it can be quite confusing navigating from the metro station back to the hotel.

i could not be more full of praise for this super hotel that is in a very central location. you are only 10mins on tubes from any tourist hotspot in central paris. hotel has a minimalist approach with everything you need for a great stay, steam room, fitness suite and mini bar etc. they upgraded my wife and i as it was her birthday and could not have done enough to ensure we were happy. the great thing is its location is not in very heart of paris so restaurants are well priced and food is supurb. i would really recommend 'la pharmacie' around corner... really top notch. our room was on the 6th floor and was a little small, but very lavishly decorated, with all sorts of mod cons and necessities. shower was awesome and powerful, beds really comfortable. shopping and restaurants nearby, bakeries and coffee shops in close proximity. what a great break we had and our stay in le mareuil really made it something special. thank you so much to the manger of the hotel who did her very best to ensure we had a fabulous stay... even made us a coffee before we left for the airport. highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
dont do the bus tour, it costs euro pp,instead by a day ticket for underground, only cost pp and is far quicker and efficient way to travel, you see all paris without the traffic.

New Central Paris Design-on-a-Budget hotel
central location (near Republique and Metro stations)

this is a new hotel in central paris with typically small rooms that are designed on an even smaller budget. modern in an ikea-ish minimalist fashion, it's basic, simple and clean. we stayed here for 1 night in jan as we were in paris to catch the end of the hopper exhibit at the grand palais. this hotel was fine for what we wanted. however i would not recommend staying for longer than 1 or 2 nights.
