I was a bit worried when I saw the location next to some night clubs but although my window was above the street they were on, I didn't hear a sound. Good double glazing!! My room was not air conditioned but did have a desk fan. I didn't realise those were so effective. Kept the room nice and cool. The friendly and helpful desk staff all spoke perfect English (much better than my French!!) and this was helpful. The remainder of the staff were all very courteous and polite whilst efficiently going about their work. Good clean hotel, although showing wear and tear - the rooms could do with a fresh coat of paint. All in all a good hotel for the money.

Breakfast in Paris - no croissants?!

• Restaurant Tip : For a special occasion (it's quite expensive)and if you love seafood, treat yourself to a meal in Charlot's, a few minutes walk from the hotel in Place Clichy.
