the hotel is in a perfect location. walking out of the street towards champ elysee takes literally 30 seconds! the best is that just across the stop light is a direct entrance to the metro station (station "concorde"). the park in front of the louvre is also just 1min walk away and walking to the louvre doesn't take more than 5-10 minutes.
as for the hotel itself, it had surprisingly large rooms for paris standards. we woke up late so we did not eat breakfast in the hotel, but there are a lot of restaurants and bistros around. we had therefore breakfast once at a bistro/coffee shop close to the hotel which was great.
the time indications here are not approximate but realistic. you do not walk more than 30-60 seconds to reach the mentioned destinations. it made it the perfect hotel for our long weekend trip to paris.
Shopping Tip:
As for shopping, the famous Rue Saint-Honoré is just behind the hotel. You can reach it also under a minute walk. And you have all the big brands there, Gucci, Hermes, Prada, Burberry, etc.
We went last minute shopping at the evening but knew what we wanted to buy and rushed from the hotel just to get into the store before it closed. And we succeeded in buying what we wanted. If we were further away, the shops had been closed. The location of the hotel is really ideal for shopping.
