Juan A. Couples United States of America, September 02, 2012	Noisy Clean, location 5.7 Rooms are small but nice. Near a Bistro so expect late night noise. Near a church so expect a giant bell ringing every hour. Rooms are comfy. The toilet water running, kept me up at night. Breakfast is expensive. Not close to a Metro stop. Walk to the Bastille stop is not good. I would look else where next time.

Groups United Kingdom, July 10, 2011	Great hotel for a city break in Paris Great location, clean rooms 7.3 The Standard Design Hotel is well located for young people wanting a base for a city break in Paris. The surrounding area has plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars and a lively atmosphere in the evening. And the hotel is only a few minutes walk from Bastille metro station. The hotel itself is well maintained and clean, but like anywhere in Paris it is compact. The lift is tiny and the rooms are small, but still comfortable. There is an ipod dock in the room, but the connection on the one in our room was a bit dodgy. The breakfast is overpriced, but there are plenty of cafes nearby offering cheaper alternatives. Nightlife Tip: Charlotte Bar on Rue de Lappe is a great little bar with great music, yummy cocktails and lots of dancing.

Business travelers December 09, 2010	Good location but extremely small room the young man at the Reception was very plesant and helpful 6.7 Beside the size of the rooms are very small, the bathroom of the single room is badly designed with nowhere to put the amenities. Travel tip: Location is good with lots of restaurants in the vicinity. About 8-10 minutes walk to the nearest metro.
