Great location in Latin Quarter

there are a number of hotels within walking distance, but we are pleased with our recent stay. we arrived early from our exhausting trip from london, as we took the night bus on national express, and were pleasantly surprised to be allowed to do an early check-in to our room.
we stayed at room 51, and was handed over the keys and our pre-sent mail from paris visitor immediately - extremely efficient and no-fuss.
we had to hand over our keys back to the reception counter everytime we stepped out of the hotel, but that really is not an issue. when we returned, the room was well-made and cleaned.we had breakfast and all our meals outside the hotel, as it is very near the mouffetard market - about 10mins walk away.
the location is very convenient, nearest train station is at cardinal lemoine, which is less than 3 mins walk away.
the wifi connection is strong and good - no issues there.
overall a great stay and agree with the previous positive reviews on this page, highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

Perfect location in Paris

hotel in a great location. right near the metro and a short stroll from notre dame. rooms were small but satisfactory, bathroom was clean. air conditioning would have been great. other rooms in our party had portable air-con in their rooms but ours did not and it was hot is paris in the summer! wifi worked well and was handy to have.

Easy access to Metro, good option for the budget

We wanted a decent hotel that fit a smaller budget but still put us within easy access to the main sites in Paris. I read through many reviews of this hotel and we were satisfied with our stay there. They upgraded us (for free) to a triple room so the room wasn't "small" - though everything in Paris is smaller than American hotel rooms so people just need to expect that. The men at the desk were nice and spoke enough English to help us. There were several cafes nearby and it's just around the corner from a metro stop. It's also within walking distance to Notre Dame.
My only suggestion would be that if you like a dark room for sleeping don't get a room with a street view. The lights on the building were pretty bright.

chambre exiguë, propreté moyenne.
la localisation est excellente, proche de jussieu et proche du métro et des boulevards.
l’accueil est aléatoire et surtout la propreté douteuse particulièrement dans la salle de bain.
il est possible d'entendre le va et vient du métro et ce même au troisième étage de l'hôtel.
