hotel rohan is a charming hotel with a fantastic location in strasbourg, 2 minutes walk to the cathedral. the hotel staff was very friendly, and the hotel seems to be well -run, example, a light bulb which conked out was immediately changed, and questions are answered well. the rooms are not big, but quite well-appointed...mine had a bathtub, a ref, desk, night tables with lamps, and the usual bathroom toiletries. the hotel has a restaurant on the gound level which also serves breakfast. breakfast was good_ with fruit, cereal, breads, bacon, eggs, cheeses. the hotel has a small lobby with lounge chairs, thus, it is good enough, esp for people waiting to check- in or check out. it straddles two streets which seem to be pedestrian streets although on one side our taxi was able to drop us. overall, i can recommend this hotel.

Nice Hotel at a Great Location

Good location near to major attractions, walking distance to tram stops. We had a twin room and it was a good size for 2 of us. The wireless internet was very good. Hotel service was excellent, always greeted by cheerful front office staff and the resturant folks. We considered the best hotel that we had during our 9 days trip in France.
Shopping Tip:
Travelling in France - always take into consideration of their opening hours, especially from Sat to Monday. Shops which open on Sat or Sun likely to close on Monday.

Location is fine. But the rock road with small sidewalk from train station to hotels is trudged, especially if you have large or heavy luggage. Fewer road sign is not nice to traveler.
The building have small fashion lobby but very old inside. Large bathroom but small bedroom. I confused about the arrangement and don't like the old atmosphere.
It's lack of lots facilities for needs.
They have a warm-heart Chinese receptionist and help us lots.
