The rooms are old from early 70s, the shower is inside the room, no warming in autumn/winter, the breakfast is poor. The hotel is very far from the centre. Don't approach this place! There're many hotels and guesthouses in Baden Baden at this price. Also, Strasbourg, that is very close to Baden Baden, offers inexpensive accomodation at much higher level. The housekeeper in Deutscher Kaiser is rude woman, that does a favour, that simply speaks to you. If you start to ask her questions, she gets nervous and starts to shout. Although, I was assured, that there is no problem with parking, all the places were full.
Travel tip : The casino is the "must see" in Baden, even if you're not going to gamble.

We thought we had booked the Kaiser Hotel in the middle of the city, unfortunately it turned out that the were 2 Kaiser Hotels and we lived in the one out of the city centre. You could walk to the hotel but I would prefer the bus, took about 2-3 minutes and the stop was right next to the hotel.
The rooms were big, no tv, no air-con (it wasn't that warm so no need for it).
Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly.
