Dine in the restaurant for a full, hot breakfast after waking up in your fine, big bed and taking a shower in your bathroom host to beautiful fixtures. All the rooms here offer large windows, lots of sunlight, and a cool inoffensive appearance. Take advantage of the internet access and the hotel reception's knowledgeability. Let them recommend you nice places to eat in the area, excellent pubs, and thriving nightlife spots. In the evenings, head over to the hotels wooded little pub area for warm conversation and a crisp nightcap. Not bad, considering you're paying much less than most hotels of this stature in Berlin.

Convenient and economic hostel
Clean, close to city center

The area looks a little uninhabited, but it's easy to arrive by subway. The whole building is very clean.
The staff is not the frendliest, but correct.
Restaurant Tip:
Nice restaurant in main crossing street with old style decoration and good quality and good price.

good clean accommodation, hostel style. good breakfast for 4 euro. close to the last remaining part of the berlin wall (with art work on it). is located on street with some squats.

AO hotel Mitte

AO Mitte Hotel is really an expensive hostel. It is noisy, crowded and the lifts are slow. I checked after one day and found a much nicer place to stay in a more convenient location, with breakfast included and free internet. The AO hostels do a lot of advertising and perhaps the hostel side is value for money but the hotel-style rooms seemed overpriced. I would not recommend it.
