small hotel but in a good location

The Alex hotel is a small hotel close to Alexander Platz in Prenslauer Berg.
Although the room was located towards the street the noise was very limited thanks to double windows.
The bathroom was disappointing, a curtain that blows on your body does not give you a clean feeling.
Breakfast is included but you are better off paying for some breakfast elsewhere.
The possibility to park your car securely is a great plus if you travel by car.

great convenience for the business traveller. tram/bus stop is right across the road. good selection of food available for breakfast, and convenience stores, affordable eateries (cafes, asian cuisine, western cuisine) within 1 min's walk. location is also very peaceful though it is in walking distance of the hustle and bustle of alexanderplatsz. would definitely recommend a stay at the alex hotel if you're in town for business.

everything was easy with check in taking less than 2 minutes. room was basic as advertised, but a fine and quiet sleep. people at reception are extremely friendly and helpful even printing documents for you when needed for a business meeting.

This is a very good hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpfull and always try to go above and beyond. Breakfast is so full and have so many varieties that I was surprised. Free internet. Nice rooms with comfortable mattress and pillows.
There are several minor Cons: no phone in the room, near 10 min walk to Alexander Platz (of course, you can take a tram or a bus, but still)

Tolles kleines Hotel ganz nah am alex, Einzelzimmer zum Teil recht klein, aber gut ausgestattet. Wasser und Kaffee umsonst - großes plus! Frühstücksbüffet überraschend vielseitig, hätte ich von so einem kleinen Hotel gar nicht erwArtet. Das Ambiente stimmt und die Mitarbeiter extrem nett und hilfsbereit

スタッフは英語が話せ親切、一人は日本の京都を旅行しことがあり、日本好きであった。

Ratikkapysäkki hotellin edessä, ja siitä muutama pysäkinväli Alexanderplatzille. Aamiainen oli hyvä ja monipuolinen. Kylpyhuone siisti ja melko tilava, fööni löytyi myös!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Ihan melkein kulman takana on Volkspark Friedrichschein, jossa hieno Grimmin satujen inspiroima suihkulähde!
