location great but medicre in some respects

no one at crowne plaza door to help with luggage
check in was efficient
when i arrived at room found that mattress was so soft
and having chronic back problems asked for a firmer bed.
from reception a distinct no.
asked to speak to manager......got a response that they
could provide a board to slide under mattress....but had no singles available
after some wrangling i was moved to a double room with
the adjusted board in place.
bed was just manageable
rooms were spotless and efficiently cleaned
there is no concierge information service available
i have usually found crowne plaza hotels to be ok
this one is impersonal/detatched and not the least bit interested in its guests.
the restaurant food in the evening is boring as are all the public spaces
Travel tip:
KDW Department store Food Hall is worth a visit

It sould be you choice if you visit Berlin
Pretty good location near the Zoo,
5 mins walk to U-Bahn Station.
Good service by kind and helpful staff

Located near U2 station Wittenbergplatz. U2 will be the main line you will take when visit Berlin.
The hotel is located near the Zoo as well. Pretty good location for a family to stay.
The facilities in guest room were adquated and enough for guest. You will have plenty choices of drink from the mini bar in room.
Staff were helpful. I enjoyed a warm stay here.
It will be you choice of stay when you visit Berlin.
Hotel Feature Tip:
It will be better if more TV Channels for Asian guest available.
For example Japanese or Chinese TV Channels

A mon dernier séjour j'avais découvert cet établissement. C"est tout naturellement et sans me poser de questions que j'ai choisi d'y retourner cette fois ci.
Le Crowne Plazza est très bien situé au coeur de Berlin tout près de l'Eglise du souvenir et du Kufürstendamm. Tout les endroits touristiques, historiques, commerciaux sont à portée de promenade.
Le buffet est attrayant et riche...trop peut-être si vous êtes au régime. mais Berlin est une ville ou l'on peut beaucoup et agréablement marcher.
Bon Hôtel, une valeur sure. Pas de mauvaises surprises à craidre.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Allez visiter l'église du souvenir et le musée à deux pas de l'Hôtel. C'est un vrai moment d'émotion.

Ich war wie ein Berliner!
Sa situation au coeur de Berlin.
Un petit déjeuner qui ne lasse pas au fil des jours.
Un personnel discret mais disponible.

Cet hôtel est parfaitement situé et adapté à tout séjour,qu'il soit d'affaire,touristique ou autre.
Un hôtel au coeur d'une ville pas comme les autres.Les sites à visiter sont ou proches ou très bien désservis.
C'est un hôtel qui vous permet de vivre votre vie dans votre coin,d'aucun s'en réjouiront,les autres regretteront un petit déficit de convivialité.
Le personnel est très discret,presque en retrait,mais disponible et efficace lorsque vous le sollicitez.
L'hôtel est à vingt minutes de l'aéroport de Tegel qu'in est hélas question de fermer dans les années à venir.Le trafic sera alors transfèré sur Schönbreg sensiblement plus éloigné.
Sauf raisons impératives je garderais le Crown si j'avais à revenir à Berlin.

Ich würde wieder hier absteigen, aber nicht mehr zu diesem Preis, da ich dafür Zimmer ohne schmudeligen Teppich wünsche.
