Groups Ireland, October 03, 2011	lovely hotel, great location VERY BRIGHT AND AIRY, LOVELY COURTYARD TO SIT AND RELAX WITH A DRINK. 8 had a really lovely stay at the ellington hotel, location is really good, beside shops, bars and restaurants, very easy to get around and see the tourist attractions from this hotel, express train straight from the airport to hotel, station only about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the hotel,staff very helpful in the hotel, and the bar was really nice with large glass windows looking out on to a gorgeous courtyard with plenty of tables and chairs perfect for sitting outside in the sunshine with a wine,rooms a little bit small and a bit unusual to have shower in the bedroom but very clean and the bed very comfortable, would definately return to the ellington again. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: tour buses hop on hop off service get to see all the attractions of berlin, very good value, if u stay on the bus the trip lasts about 1 hour. lots to see.
Robert B. Couples Germany, July 29, 2012	Ganz ordentlich Nah am Kuhdamm 8 Zentral am Kurfürstendamm in Schöneberg gelegenes Hotel. Es ist sehr groß mit hunderten Zimmern. Sie sind modern und einfach eingerichtet. Das Frühstück für 20 Euro kann man sicherlich auswärts günstiger und besser bekommen; das muss man also nicht extra hinzu buchen.

Business travelers Italy, October 06, 2009	berlino ellington report centrale, value for money, vecchia costruzione ristrutturata con molto gusto e in style moderno 8 l'hotel ellington è il vecchi ministero delle finanze del terzo reich, una costruzione immensa rimasta intatta durante la seconda guerra mondiale . è stato sapientemente ristrutturato con la conservazione di maioliche di rivestimento negli androni mentre gli interni sono stati sapientemente accostati materiali moderni e arredi con la prevalenza del colore bianco tutta una serie di fotografie illustrano le immagini del famosissimo jazzista duke ellington e nella zona bar una cabina di regia manda in onda le musiche dell'artista al ristorante duke si gustano piatti internazionali in una atmosfera moderna ma ricca di fascino antico Hotel Feature Tip: a 100 metri dalla famosissima chiesa distrutta di berlino e vicinissimo alla kufursterdam

Couples Finland, April 08, 2012	Hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla Asiakkaille, jotka arvostavat hyviä kulkuyhteyksiä sekä hyviä ostosmahdollisuuksia 7.7 saapuessamme hotelliin varaustamme ei löytynyt hotellin varausjärjestelmästä, koska varaus oli tehty samana päivänä. asioimme ensin harjoittelijavirkailijan kanssa, mutta koska hän ei onnistunut löytämään varaustamme, tilanteen otti haltuun kokeneempi virkailija. hetken etsimisen jälkeen varaus kuitenkin löytyi ja saimme huoneet nopeasti. palvelu vastaanotossa oli erittäin ystävällinen ja vaivanpalkaksi odottelusta virkailija antoi meille kaksi tuntia ilmaista wifi- aikaa. huone oli pieni, mutta siisti ja tehokkaasti suunniteltu. amenityt olivat erittäin rajalliset ja huoneesta puuttui mm. radio. minibar oli edullinen ja suhteellisen hyvin varusteltu. jääpalat maksoivat erikseen tilattaessa?!? baarista itse hakiessa ne kuitenkin sai ilman lisäveloitusta. huone oli kadulle päin, mutta ikkunan kautta ei huoneeseen kantautunut minkäänlaista melua. muutoinkin äänieristys oli hyvä. aamiainen ei kuulunut huoneen hintaan ja se erikseen ostettuna oli berliiniläisittäin kallis: 20e. hotelli ja erityisesti ravintola oli hieman kolkko, mutta koska hotelli on profiloitunut design- hotelliksi, sisustuksen niukkuus oli ymmärrettävää. check out oli sujuvaa ja saimme lisäpyynnöstä late check outin ilman lisämaksua. Restaurant Tip: Nuorekkaaseen ja aitoberliiniläiseen tapaan ravintola Room 77, Graefestrasse 77 (Kreutzberg).
