l'hotel ellington è il vecchi ministero delle finanze del terzo reich, una costruzione immensa rimasta intatta durante la seconda guerra mondiale . è stato sapientemente ristrutturato con la conservazione di maioliche di rivestimento negli androni mentre gli interni sono stati sapientemente accostati materiali moderni e arredi con la prevalenza del colore bianco
tutta una serie di fotografie illustrano le immagini del famosissimo jazzista duke ellington e nella zona bar una cabina di regia manda in onda le musiche dell'artista al ristorante duke si gustano piatti internazionali in una atmosfera moderna ma ricca di fascino antico
