Great location hard to find

The room was clean but very hot. I had a hard time getting the temperature to adjust to be comfortable. I really liked the location but even the taxi had a hard time finding the hotel. The breakfast food was really good but the coffee was bad.
Restaurant Tip:
There are really no good restaurants nearby which is unfortunate because the hotel is a good value for the money. Some of the staff in the hotel do not speak English very well so it made it difficult to find places to go

Great hotel
location, friendly staff, great value for money

This hotel is located perfectly in Berlin Mitte. Just 10 minutes walk from Museuminsel and Hackescher Markt. Also three U-bahn stops near by.
The hotel rooms are designed in oriental (Vietnamese) style. The rooms are clean and spacious enough, at least for Berlin standards. Staff was friendly and helpfull.
Also parking available behind the hotel. The parking space was out of sight, so the car is reasonably safe.
I will probably return to this hotel for my next visit to Berlin.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Try Prenzlauer Berg and Mauerpark. Especially on a nice summerday it is very nice.

das zimmer war ziemlich abgewohnt und unangenehm stark parfümiert, an der rezeption wirkte man überfordert sowohl beim einchecken als auch beim auschecken. als ich nachts das hotel verließ, stand ich plötzlich vor verschlossenen türen.

Sehr schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage

Ein sauberes Hotel mit geräumigen Zimmern und -in meinen Augen besonders erwähnenswert- vorgeheiztem Bad, man fühlte sich sofort zu Hause. Wer den guten vietnamesischen Kaffee von einem Vietnam-Aufenthalt kennt, wird sich freuen, diesen hier wieder trinken zu können. Auch das Restaurant ist empfehlenswert - ausreichende, leckere Portionen. Das Personal gibt sich rundum Mühe, den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Würde dieses Hotel in Berlin sofort wieder buchen.

Angenehme Zimmer, Hotelführung vietnamesisch
mittendrin und trotzdem ruhig

Das Halong ist Teil des Viethauses, in dem u.a. ein großer Laden mit vietnamesischen Dingen ansässig ist. Es liegt direkt an einer Bushaltestelle und an der U-Bahn-Station. Ein Fahrradverleih ist 50m weiter in einem Café zu finden.
Das Haus wirkt von außen erstmal wenig einladend. Wenn man aber die Eingangstür überwunden hat, ist es sehr angenehm dort. Offenbar ist man dort sehr auf vietnamesische Gäste eingerichtet, denn die Toilettentüren etc. sind 2sprachig beschriftet.
Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig (nicht zur Leipziger Straße gelegen), auch im Haus hat man nichts gehört. Das Bett war bequem, Kühlschrank und Fernseher waren vorhanden (wer's braucht), die Fenster ließen sich öffnen. Das Badezimmer wirkte ohne Fenster trotzdem sehr schön sonnig, durch moderne orangefarbene Fliesen - alles tiptop.
Das Highlight war, dass wir zum Frühstück eine köstliche Pho Bo bekamen. Wer schon in Vietnam war, wird das zu schätzen wissen. Das sonstige Frühstücksbuffett war in Ordnung.
Die Mitarbeiter waren ausnahmslos sehr nett. Jederzeit wieder.
Nächstes Mal werden wir sicher das angeschlossene Restaurant ausgiebig testen.
