Good Location as per my requirement

Hotel was good but they don't allow smoking in the room. So I had to come downstairs everytime in the cold to smoke. The elevator is real slow (looks like a very old one). Room was clean. LCD had a very few channels - not much to choose from... Overall the location served my purpose so I am okay with it.
Restaurant Tip:
there is an Indian restuarant in the next lane. Pretty Close.

Straightforward hotel in good location

This hotel is central and near food, shops and transport. It provides all the basic necessities and staff were pleasant. Fine if you're not spending a great deal of time in the hotel room.

L'hôtel est très bien situé proche des transports en commun; l'accueil est bon, le service rapide au petit déjeuner;
mais on n'a pas voulu de ma carte dê crédit pour payer la facture, j'ai du régler en espèces.

Alles zu meiner Zufriedenheit; bei fehlendem Wasserdruck in der 4. Etage wurde mir sofort ein anderes Zimmer angeboten :-)

близко к центру, на главной торговой улице, мягкие кровати, лифт, хоть и с оговорками

На Ку-дамм, главной торговой улице, пару остановок в метро до главных достопримечательностей. Неплохойц, хотя и в старом здании. Номер тесный, хотя в нем уютно и кровати хороши. Лифт есть, но останавливается как-то между этажами, приходится один пролет нести чемоданы. А потом до номера еще приходится долго идти по старым затхлым коридорам. Досадно, что мы приехали в 12.30, а заселение в 14.00 - так на ресепшене сказали, что до 14.00 ни-ни. Хотя в других странах в хороших отелях не были такими принципиальными.
Shopping Tip:
Все взахлеб твердили про супер-шоппинг в супер-магазине KDW. Может, мы чего-то не поняли, но там все какое-то от-кутюр, безумные цены, толпы, неудобные эскалаторы - в общем, тоска. А вокруг на той же улице много всяких магазинов, где все хорошо и адекватно по ценам.
