This family-run hotel offers Mediterranean-style rooms and a boutique level of service close to the KuDamm. In a medium-density urban area, the Hotel Domicil Berlin is close to the U-Bahn and buses and has a wide range of shops and businesses in the immediate vicinity. Rooms are thoughtfully decorated with a Mediterranean motif and provide internet connectivity and ample space while the deluxe apartments offer the convenience of a kitchenette. From here, both east and west Berlin are easily accessible via public transport, the nearest train station is a minute walk away, and those willing to walk a few blocks will find themselves on the Kurfurstendamm. To top things off, literally, the high-floor breakfast room and terrace offer beautiful views over Charlottenburg.

Once you have entered the 7th floor reception, you will find very friendly staff, committed to make your stay at the hotel and in Berlin successful. Also you will find a pleasant, friendly furnishing in the Restaurant and the roof top terrace. Breakfast is being served here and offers a solid selection and wide varieties as well as good quality. Restaurant offer for lunch and dinner could be broader and a bit more affluent and quality (currently average) could be improved.
The rooms are fine and partly spacious and well equipped (Minibar, amenities, special cusion on request. The hotel offers WLAN at a charge and rents bikes at a reasonable day charge. We prefer the quieter rooms to the inner courtyard, as the hotel has no air-condition and open windows will be needed.
Thanks to the excellent public transportation in Berlin you can cover a large radius from Potsdam to city center all within 30 minutes. Subway, Train and Bus Station are only a few meters away.
Travel tip:
Potsdam by bike: Transfer from hotel to Potsdam by train and rent bikes at the central railroad station. Best way to visit the old town and the parks around the castles of Potsdam.
Restaurant: Trattoria Pan Degli Angeli in walking distance nearby Stuttgarter Platz.

Very nice hotel at Western Berlin
Clean room, located in the center of Western part of Berlin.

Good location, easy access to SBAHN, many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants around. Not too far walking distance to the Convention Center. Close to the hotel there are nice Turkish cafes, where you can have a lot of delicious food for the cheap price. At the hotel you can have a very nice breakfast, good clean room, helpful and polite staff. Confusing when you enter to the hotel that there are no reception on the 1st floor, you have to go on upstairs. In the room you have free access to the Internet, if you have a promotion, otherwise you have to pay additional money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you are the tourist, you have to stay in the Eastern part of Berlin, there are more sightseeing places on my opinion.
