Great location, but small 1-person rooms
Great breafast, close to 3 u-ban stations, quite, clean, nice and functional design

Service was usually good but saying "I can't get you an extra blanket because there is no household person now" is not acceptable to a guest that got fever in the evening. The guy in the desk saw I'm not feeling well and could make an effort to get me a blanket.

Great hotel and friendly staff.
The hotel was new and modern and very confortable.

We really enjoyed are stay at Hotel Gat Point Charlie. The hotel is in a pretty good location, close to Check Point Charlie and not to far away from many of the other highlights of Berlin.
The hotel is very comfortable, nice room and great bed and bathroom.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
A great way to see Berlin in on an bike tour or just by hiring a bike yourself and riding around. We spent 2 days doing this and it was great!! If your keen check out Fat Tyres.

Oh, my, they are super friendly and I highly recommend.
Before I checked in, the staff has already printed our info. When I arrived, the guy just verified my information, super quick and fast.
Then I asked him for any tips of the tourist information. He took great pains explain to me where I need to visit.
When I got to the hotel, he even called me and told me that he forgot to tell me something very important -- a must-see sight. So I went downstairs. He even gave me 30 minutes wireless time for free as courtesy.
His name should be Don or Jon something.
I love this guy and this hotel.

the hotel offered free wifi which was great, except the connection was horrible from the room. to access the internet you really need to go to the lobby. i thought the staff were alright, not rude but i wouldn't say they were the best staff i've ever encountered at a hotel. truly the best part of the hotel is the convenient location within walking distance of many sites and shops.

the room was clean and its color really lively. we must only be more careful when took a shower because sometimes the water spilled up around. free wifi was not stable. the staffs were very good and speaks perfect english. very close to check point charlie, italian restaurant, thai food, middle east kebab. mc donalds and souvenirs shop also available near there. for sure will come back to gat point charlie
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Its only about 2 stops by train to Brandenburg Tor. Make sure you buy Berlin Welcome Pass for free transportation ride and good discount for museums/restaurants!

Simply perfect. The hotel is a very convenient place for sightseeing. Many place of interests are just 10 min walks, all the other reachable with public services or bikes. The hotel itself is modern, clean and very well managed.
A lot of pleasant restaurants around Gendarmenmarkt (less than 5 minutes from hotel) and very good italian coffee at Leckerback Cafe
