Great little hotel in the Berlin suburbs
Quiet room, good breakfast

I chose this hotel because I was visiting friends in Spandau but it's also a good choice for budget-conscious visitors to Berlin. It's about 30 mins from Berlin but public transport links are good. It's a small hotel, clean, comfy and with friendly helpful staff, a decent breakfast buffet and free wifi.
Restaurant Tip:
The Spandau Brauhaus has great beer brewed on site. Walking distance from the Lindenufer
