a modern hotel nestled inside a 100 year old bldg.

very convenient location, just a few meters from ku'dam, and under 5 mins from the subway station, and very helpful staff

This is a very interesting hotel inside a 100+ year old building whose antique elevator still works! They have all you need for a short and no-frill visit to Berlin - breakfast, clean rooms, TV, and other basic amenities. The rooms are quite small though, for a European hotel, and reminded me of a Japanese hotel. The floor creaks because they just face-lifted the room and the building structure is the same as the 100 year old elevator. All in all, it is still a good value hotel considering the price, and i would recommend it to the no frill traveler.

Travel tip: Stay away from the lower floors. The rooms near the lobby are much more convenient.

Späte Ankunft am Abend war kein Problem; Zimmerzuteilung erfolgte sehr schnell; Lage in Berlin ist super; Hotel ist sehr schön und hat einen einen tollen, nostalgischen Aufzug; die Zimmerdecke ist sehr hoch und Zimmer sind im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels in Berlin sehr groß (bis auf das Bad); Frühstück ist bereits beim Preis inklusive und war sehr reichhaltig
