Ok, but not good value for money

i stayed four nights there. service was ok, but in general what you get is not really a hotel, but something like a stylish expensive youth-hostel. breakfast buffet was not acceptable at 15 EUR, rooms didn't have a single chair to sit on, there wasn't a single hanger for my jacket or suits, bathroom didn't have tiles, but was simply painted. it all looked quite nice and i can see what they were trying to create, but for me it was too much non-standard

The hotel was nice and is about 7 euro cab drive from Holocaust memorial and 30 euro drive from Tegel airport. Restaurant seemed good and popular although we did not eat. Only stayed there to sleep and pretty functional!

Pour un premier voyage à Berlin, j'ai choisi le LUX11. La suite... bien entendu !!! Très spacieuse, tout confort, ultra-équipée !!! L'emplacement de l'hôtel est parfait pour le sérial shoppeur que je suis ;) Et pour une vire nocturne pas besoin de traverser la ville, d'excellents club sont à quelques minutes à pied ! J'y retourne avec plaisir...

Das Lux 11 befindet sich in einem schönen Altbau ganz in der Nähe der Volksbühne, des Alexandersplatzes und des Hackeschen Markts. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer schön groß. Beim Einchecken konnten wir zwischen verschiedenen Zimmern wählen (mit/ohne Balkon etc.). Das Frühstücksangebot haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen, daher hierzu keine Bewertung.

Wij boekten Lux 11, omdat we zin hadden in een lekker, luxe en hip hotel voor ons weekendje Berlijn. Aangezien dit hotel op verschillende sites werd aangeraden, een leuke bar/restaurant zou hebben en ook nog best betaalbaar was leek het de ideale optie.
Bij aankomst viel alles echter behoorlijk tegen. Het restaurant en de bar waren gesloten (alleen nog open voor het ontbijt van 18 euro pp), de kamer was kleiner dan gedacht en net niet helemaal goed schoon gemaakt. Gelukkig was het personeel erg behulpzaam en kregen we snel een nieuwe kamer. De bedden waren goed, maar de douche liet te wensen over.
De ligging van het hotel bleek ideaal. Veel leuke hotspots op loopafstand. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, maar de loopse hond van de eigenaar die achter de frontdesk deed ons toch een beetje fronsen.
Niet teveel van verwachten dus, maar als je een prima hotel zoekt op een goede locatie is Lux 11 een uitkomst.
