This hotel location is very good, which is near to the train station, and very convenience to the frequent traveller who stays for 1 or 2 nights.
The room is nice and clean, but the room size is not too big. The bed and bathroom is also clean. The front desk service is nice, and allowed us for early check-in.

No lobby not convenient for business traveller

Overall speaking, this hotel is OK. It's convenient to reach. Just couple of minutes walk from Koln station. Airport is about 4 stops by trian.
Shopping Tip:
Do not forget to bring conversion plug when travelling Europe. Hotels are not providing service of lending conversion plug, and it's not easy for traveller to a new city to find it easily. This is what I want to share with other travellers.

if you are looking for a hotel that comes with great location with reasonable price in koln, then this hotel can be one of your options, but if you look for a comfy and neat one, then we are talking about a diffrent story.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
few steps away from the koln main station and the dom.

Great location but small rooms

a very good location which close to the hbf and just a few min walk from the station.
the room is clean and comfortable although the room is a little small, however i'm taking the single room.
the staff are friendly and you can get 20 min of free internet access. i will definitely go back again if i go to cologne again due to the good location and comfortable room

Good location but small room

Good location and easy to find.
Only 3 minutes from central railway station on foot. The famous landmark "Cologne Cathedral" just located beside the central railway station.
The room is small and old style.
According to the reference photos in agoda (standard double room), the room look enough big and stylish. However the room which I stayed (Room 111) is totally different, it is not only small but also with an old style design. It seem like a single room for 1 person.
No air conditioner, only a small electric fan is provided. Feel a bit hot since I visit in summer.
No free wi-fi and staffs are cool.

Uncaring staff and smelly room

I had booked the room days before going there, and had particularly asked for a non-smoker room, but when we got there, after some hours in the room I began feeling nauseous, and we then realised it was because everything (all the furniture, bed sheets, even walls) smelled of smoke. We asked at the reception if it was a non smoking room, and they told us no, and when I said that I had booked a non smoking room they did not even care, and told us we can't change because all the rooms were booked, and if we wanted to change room the next day we would have to ask again after lunch to see if they had any free.
As a result, I could not sleep during the night because I felt sick from the smoke smell. Also it was very noisy, especially in the morning, as we could hear all the neighbouring rooms and the people whenever they used the toilet/shower.
