Noise from Station. No aircon, and can be very hot in the bedrooms in summer.
This is a friendly hotel for business and tourists. Staff are helpful. The rooms are comfortable, but avoid those facing the station from where the announcements can be noisy especially in summer when it's hot and, with no airconditioning, the window must be open. Breakfast is excellent. The fitness facilities are minute. Good internet access at reasonable prices from roooms. Prices have increased recently.

Pity they stopped providing wireless access for laptops - replaced by much more expensive system using the room TV, which does not allow for downloads into the laptop or so it seems - I could not find a wireless network.
Hotel Feature Tip : Insist on a room facing away from station.

On the day of arrival, it was very warm. The windows were wide open on arrival, so it was unbearably hot in the room, which has changed to not sleep. As for cooling the room the windows were open overnight, again one has noticed any Zugansage from Central Station. The bed was not particularly comfortable.
