breakfast, location, clean location is great, easily walking distance to the dome, river rhine and chocalate museum...(maybe 20-30 mins) many shops and restaurants nearby. I did not take the train/ busses throughout my 3 days in Cologne.
breakfast is filling - full european breakfast with hot and cold dishes
hotel is clean and modern, with an adjunct pub/ live music. Though many complained bout the noise, it did not bother me (I was on the 3rd level though). For single travellers, the single room is small and compact mainly of its single bed. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to any travellers.

Rooms a bit small.. could have prepared tea making facilities. A surprise. The hotel turned out to be quite good in terms of location. Remember to take Line 5 from the central hof and stop at Pleisance Square... then it is just a few minutes walk away. It is one straight line so with luggage it is ok. We request for an electrical jug and it was given to us.. so that made up for the lack of tea making facilities.... Apart from that... maybe a light sleeper should request for higher floors as it was quite noisy... We stayed at the second floor.

- Central location - but still quiet very good hotel if you want to go near the Rudolfplatz. Everything within walking distance. We had rooms out to the backyard which was very quiet, so that you could even leave the windows open at night at Carnival!
