The luxuriously-appointed guestrooms and suites at Asahi are decorated in Japanese flair that is very pleasing and comfortable, even if the guests are not Japanese. Don�t let the small and unimpressive lobby lead to the wrong impression; the rooms are massive and extremely luxurious. Attractions in the area include Bertha von Suttner Platz and the famous shopping of the �Ko.� The rest of the city can easily be reached by short walk or by hopping on a nearby metro stop and proceeding to pretty much anywhere. The hotel is located perfectly for those arriving by train as the central train station is just a few minutes down the street. A great find due to the original Japanese styles featured in the large rooms, Asahi Hotel is a unique experience in Duesseldorf at a very reasonable price.
