The hotel's location was wonderful, just a three minute walk from the central station, around five minute walk to the japanese street and a tram station is just right in front of the hotel.
The hotel staff were very friendly and nice too.
There is free wifi and overall the room is quite clean and comfortable.
I would recommend it for those who stay for a short trip in Düsseldorf.

The location of the hotel is very central very close to the central station and not so far from the city centre which is within walking distance. There is also a tram station right in front of the hotel.
The english speaking receptionist was very friendly, but the cleaning service was disturbing because they knock on the door although it is not yet time for check out.
The rooms are quite clean and comfortable.

Very near to the station. Very standard hotel and basically nothing more than that. Rooms are little bit old fashion and makes us feel unclean. Overall it was fair.

4th Floor in the old wing needs a renovation

I had been assigned a very old room with a stained carpet, no way I would have taken my shoes off in there. I think the whole floor needs an overhaul and should not be sold at the current state. Not even as a deal. The hotel staff showed some attitude at first with a face of disbelief when I said the room was too dirty to stay in. However he seems to know about this problem as I have been allowed an "upgrade" to a room on a renovated floor, still fairly small in size, not bigger than approx 12 sqm. Unfortunately, it was not as clean as it should have been (I found bread crumbs on the chest of drawer). But I did not complain, keeping in mind that I booked a 3 star, and agreed to stay in the room after the same receptionist called me 5 mins later to ask whether I would stay in it. Too tired to make a fuss after a long journey. It's an alright hotel if you don't need much extras and ask to stay in the renovated building.

The hotel is good for all type of treveller easy to go anyway from the near by central trian station. The only thing need to change is the pillow too soft.

It takes only a couple of minutes from the Hbf. Easy to find as it is on a big street.
Nightlife Tip:
Walking distance to one of the most famous brewpubs, Schumacher. Alt is wonderful there. They have souvenir bottles of beer for 14 EUR (1 litter).

we only stayed there one night so overall it was ok. We booked a double room and they have put us in a twin room. After i complained to the reception, they have put us in the big double room with spacious bathtub. Area is very dodgy almost redlight district style. I won't stay in this area again but in Old Town.

We booked 5 rooms for 1 night stayed without breakfast. The price is cheap and 10 minutes walk from Main Train Station. The hotel locates at various shops and dining places. The room is clean, good and above our expectation with the the price we had paid. The hotel's staffs were helpful and good.
