Close to the station. Free internet. Tasty breakfast!
The room was cold. We did get two beds put next to each other instead of one king/queen sized.
We just stayed one night and was leaving with the train the next day. The hotel was okay for this. Nothing out of the ordinary, but not less either. We were freezing like crazy though, but perhaps that was due to the climate change from Singapore.

Near train station and convenient. Clean environment with decent breakfast. Free coffee and tea. Free WiFi access.
Lack of sufficient security. Insufficient customer service.
When depositing our luggage with the porter, the concierge personnel simply hand us the keys & ask us to place the luggage there ourselves. No attempts were made to ensure that we were indeed legitimate guests of the hotel. Lack of security and customer service on their part. Luggage is not safely handled.

From the international airport of Frankfurt, take the city-express train (S-Bahn) No.8 (direction Hanau) directly to the main railway station of Frankfurt (Hauptbahnhof). Get off at the central station and leave it through the south side exit. The hotel Excelsior is located directly opposite to the exit.
