This hotel is a good option if you have just arrived on a long haul flight and it is very early or very late in the day and you need a good nights sleep before doing anything else. Also good as a transit option for a night.
Otherwise, there would be little reason not to stay in the city which is only 20 minutes away on the airport express train.
Basic but comfortable, shuttles to and from the airport every 15 mins, and very good breakfast
Looking a little dated, no restaurant options other than the restaurant and the pub at the hotel.
- Travel tip : A good spot to watch planes, if you enjoy that!

If you are intersted in the operation of a major international airport this is a hotel for you. Rooms at the front of the hotel look across the airport. Also a short walk will take you to a Berlin Airlift Memorial, walk a little further and you will be able to witness the arrival and departure of aircraft at relatively close quarters.

Very close to the aiport and the shuttle comes every half hour
