it wasn't my first stay at this hotel ,and definetly will not be the last ....
the rooms are big and very clean ,the breakfast is rich ,at the alexander restaurant you can have also a good dinner ,
about the location ,its not far from the down town ,anyway the access to the down town is extremely easy ,the bus station is around the corner (bus line 30 )
i will recommend strongly this hotel to my friend and without any dought ...

Overnight stay at the Friedberger Warte Frankfurt
The meal at the old pub which was attached to the hotel, though over the road.

The hotel was advertised as being near the airport but it was an expensive taxi ride about 25 to 30 minutes by car from the airport.We were able to return by public transport but had to leave very early to catch a bus then a train. The bed was comfortable and the room attractive, had plenty of room and was clean.
Travel tip:
As we only stayed overnight at this hotel none of the above options apply. Would suggest using public transport if on a budget.

Four visits to this hotel
The hotel is in a safe and pleasant suburb of Frankfurt. It is always clean and the hotel try to see that visitors observe the "no smoking" policy.The staff are pleasant and courteous. The breakfast is always excellent.

Because this hotel is in close proximity to my son's home it is very convenient for me. I feel very safe walking back late at night and when it is dark. I like being independent and not having my son drive me back.
The hotel feels safe, it seems to attract clients who are considerate of other visitors. We have never been disturbed by other people, or found that the room has been used as a smoking facility. This is important to us and we appreciate that the hotel positively encourages the non-smoking policy.
The Breakfast provided is always excellent. The fact that it is available until 10 a.m. is appreciated as we are here on holiday and this gives as the opportunity to relax.
We really feel that all the staff try to do their best for us, we cannot ask for more. We have used the hotel four times which speaks for itself.
Travel tip:
There is an excellent Supermarket and Drugstore, which I imagine would cover most average needs, across the road intersection behind the Fort. Both have a good selection of Organic products including Baby -food.

Friedberger Hotel Frankfurt

The hotel was conveniently located to both the airport and town. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. The beds were comfortable and a good tv in the room. Only problem was that the room service finished at 10 pm and we arrived late so were hungry and there were no places to get food. Otherwise, excellent value for money.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The hotels is convieniently located near the airport, we stayed there for this reason and found it perfect.

Excellent choice
The rooms are comfortable and not noisy even if you are on street side,also the breakfast is very tasty.

The hotel is excellent,comfortable and close to shopping centre.The breakfast is tasty and you have good choice of food.We came by car and it was not a problem,because the hotel has large garage and outside parking place.I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and I will definitly choose again this hotel.

1 km away from the hotel is big shopping center Billstedt.

Clean Room and Reasonable Price
The room which I stayed at was very clean and calm. There were many kinds of English TV programs besides German ones.

The breakfast had many varieties of foods. The bathtub was big enough. But there was no shower curtain. However generally speaking, this hotel was very good. I could reach this hotel in about 30 to 40 minutes from Frankfurt Main Station by U5 (U-bahn : subway) and walking. To access by car maybe more convenient. In case of using U-bahn and S-bahn from this hotel to go sightseeing in Frankfurt city center and to go to Frankfurt-Main Int'l Airport, it maybe worth using one day or two day ticket called "Frankfurt Card."
