Hotel hat seine beste Zeit hinter sich....

Das Hotel besteht aus zwei miteinander verbundenen Altbauten.
Der an der Außenfassade bröckelnde Putz steht etwas im Gegensatz zum Namen "Geheimer Rat". Die angepriesenen Parkplätze dürften in der Regel nicht ausreichen und auf den umliegenden Straßen ist abends kaum ein Parkplatz verfügbar.
Das Frühstück ist recht passabel. Die Zimmer sind relativ klein.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, der Stadtteil von Magdeburg heißt Stadtfeldt, die Goethestr. zählt zu der besten Wohngegend im Innenstadtbereich.
Das Hotel entspricht, wie ausgewiesen einem vier Sterne Hotel. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, sauber teils ein bischen verwohnt, erkennbar an vereinzelten Holzschäden in der Inneneinrichtung.
Das Frühstücksbufet ist reich gedeckt und die Komponemten sind frisch und schmackhaft.
Für einen Preis von 56 Euro absolut empfehlenswert

Das Hotel Geheimer Rat liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend, die mit einer Viertelstunde Fußweg an die Innenstadt angrenzt. Fürs Auto gibts immer einen Platz, auf der Strasse, auf dem Hof oder in der Tiefgarage. Kein Luxus, aber man fühlt sich wohl, wird höflich und zurückhaltend bedient. Erwähnenswert, weil leider noch nicht selbstverständlich, die kostenlose WLAN Nutzung. Rundum eine Empfehlung.
