Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.
We want you to pay the lowest possible rate for your room. If you have reserved a hotel room through Agoda, and then show us that you could book the same room, for the same dates, at a lower rate, that is viewable and bookable on another website, within 48 hours of booking your room with us, we will either match that rate or beat it. Good location, nice renovated building. The breakfast was ok, and the staff kind and helpful.
I didnt like the single bed...New hotels should get rid of them and replace them with double beds.
In general the hotel is very good. The staff kind and helpful, the areas of the building are clean and renovated. I would recommend to somebody to stay in this hotel. Its a short walk from the city centre, the main attractions of the City and the Central Train Station, Metro, Tram...etc.

The hotel is a family-type hotel which I will recommend to travelers with kids. The location is near St. Paul's Church in the city centre area and is right in front of the Verdi Supermarket so you can buy your goods there if you need to buy fresh fruits or for your personal needs. The room is quite spacious compared to the other hotels we have stayed in the past in Paris. All three of us could walk around without having to bump each other. There is even a small table and chairs so you can eat there if you wish. The mini-bar is well stocked with the basics like water, juices, beers, wines and snacks. The bathroom is average but still spacious. The beds are well-done and firm and just about right for us because we were given 3 separate beds! Wow! Laslty, the staff speak good English and are friendly and helpful too.
There are few very minor inconvenience that we have though. There was no Room Service at the moment and I don't know if that was temporary. There was a slight "bad" smell coming from the bathroom and it smelled like a foul water kept for long. Really weird!
My family and I liked this hotel because of the cost, the location which is walking distance to the Hauftbahnhof (or Central Station), Karlsplatz and Marienplatz. The rooms are spacious for the three of us and we do not have to give way to the other just to pass. The price I paid for the stay was worth it.
I would like to take special mention to the cordial and helpful staff of the hotel for making our stay enjoyable. One staff even called my husband when my daughter accidentally forgot my PDA in the room after we have checked-out. Good thing we were still nearby so had to go back and retrieve it from the reception. I missed to get her name but I do thank her for the honesty.
I will definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers in Munich. It's simply the BEST!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : located near Hauftbahnhof station and St. Paul's Church. Within walking distance to the town square - Mariansplatz and Karlsplatz. There is a Tourist Info Centre in the Central Station and a Hop-On Hop-Off tour bus.

Good location in a quiet neighborhood. Great breakfast. Walking distance to train station and Oktoberfest Park.
Older building. The neighborhood is fine but not "magical" by Munich standards. Spa/sauna was closed when we were there.
This is my first time exploring the hotel's neighborhood despite several visits to Munich and despite it's location, 3 blocks south of the train station. The rooms are small (common in Germany), but the beds were comfy and the shower was great. Very good breakfast, good service. Quiet neighborhood despite its proximity to New Year's Eve concerts in nearby Oktoberfest Park. The hotel itself is in an ugly building, a little rough around the edges, but serviceable. Would stay here again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Nymphenburg Palace/Castle, a tram ride northwest from the train station, is worth a look and has a large park with forest-like gardens.
