Noisy , old and dirty carpet, wifi not working

The Hotel looks very old and dirty on the wallpaper and carpet, the staff not very helpful. In the web it says it offer parking, that's way I choose it. But when we arrive the staff said parking was full.

Great location but old hotel

The hotel has a great location in Munich, just 2mins walk to the Underground station (Goetheplatz Station). Has a fantastic Italian restaurant on the ground floor. However, the hotel is rather old.

Nice hotel but small room

The receptionnist was not very helpful and did not was very kind. I came few times in the hotel this year but they did not remember me as they do not keep any note about your presence.. I had this time a small bedroom at the last floor and I thought that is was not the best way to keep a customer coming back... Indeed the bedroom was not very well furnished, the bathroom was very small, and the window was very old and noisy. I will not recommand this hotel anymore and will probably not come back...

Do not accept a bedroom at the 6th floor

My stay was quite good; the only problem is that there are no English speaking channels on TV except for CNN which omes on at 9 pm for a few hours only.

Had a room next to the elevator which is noisy, other than that the room is clean, basic. Two minutes walk to metro station. Bakery at 3 min walk to get breakfast. Room price quite high but for quality but many hotels in the city are expensive.

Great location, very small bathroom
Location very good, walking distance to Ubahn , clean linen, backeries nearby and good eating in next street, and good Italian restaurant attached tothe hotel.

Very expensive due to Okoberfest so cannot comment on value for money as a standard, but definitely overpriced with the festival price rise. Hotel had lost our prepaid reservation, but advised that they would find a room for us, and stored our luggage till we returned. We returned in the early evening to be given a room on the 6th floor. We were disappointed to find that the lift only went to the 5th floor and we had to lug our bags up the stairs the rest of the way. The room had free wifi, but it was not always working. The room we were given had a very small kitchette but no equipment so we could not use it. It was located in the roof area, so half of the room was sloped to the window, so we had to be careful not to bump our head. The double bed was quite comfortable, had a slight dip in the middle but did not affect our ability to sleep. The bathroom was very small (only room for one at a time). The separate shower was a step up to it and very tiny as well. The water pressure and temperature was good. Reception staff seemed confused when they couldn't find the reservation - were happy that we suggested returning later. At least one of the 2 staff on the desk spoke English quite well. But when checking out the only receptionist on duty had limited English. This was no problem for us though. Ate pizza in the attched Italian restaurant and the food and service were good. Did not eat breakfast at the hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
Brauhaus in street behind had economic tasty food and good ambience. ITalian Restaurant downstairs also good.

Completely disappointed

The baren room reminded me of a college dormitory. The whole place just felt dirty. The mirror on the closet was shattered, the walls were not clean. The worst part, however was the bathroom. It was incredibly small, water gets everywhere when you shower, and the toilet seemed to be leaking water from the base (where it attached to the floor).
