we really enjoyed staying at hotel rachel. owners john and maria welcomed us with a large smile. we felt our vacation started just at that point. highly recommended. wifi connection. close to tavernas and a minute away from the beach.

The owners of this small hotel in Agia Marina in Aegina are very welcoming, always there to help us with everything we needed. The hotel is very clean, right on Agia Marina beach. Since this seems to be the most popular beach on the island, it tends to be overcrowded on summer weekends, but the hotel supplies its guests with umbrellas and beatch equipment, which was great since going to the beach after 11-12pm. makes it impossible to find one to rent.
All the hotels and rooms of the area are located in traditional old-fashioned buildings, so if someone is looking for something modern and new, this is not the place to go. Taking this into account, Hotel Rachel is a good choice if you are planning a short escape on this island.
